Say Cheese Wit!
Gotta love an E-Session that ends at Jim’s Steaks on South Street! Other than a good cheese steak, that block actually has much more significance. Joey actually dropped to one knee and proposed to Carolyn outside the city shoe store one summer night.

The Preakness
I love Amanda and Pete. They are the type of people that inspire you to be a better person. They are beautiful, intelligent, hardworking couple who would never once tell you any of this since they are also very humble. Being a father now, I would hope my children turn out as good as these two. The couple planned a very personal wedding that involed both of their wonderful familes. The wedding took place in Pete’s home in Maryland. The house had been designed & built by Pete’s father.
Amanda’s uncle was a designer and when she was a little girl she asked him to make her a wedding dress one day. True to his promise, he made Amanda a beautiful dress in which she was simply glowing the entire day.

Pete awaiting his bride.

Kissing across two states. The Mason-Dixon line runs in back of the home. If I recall Pete was standing in Delaware and Amanda in Maryland during this kiss.

Cinco De Mayo
Other than loving my photographs, I think Angela booked me based on our common love of city planner Edmund Bacon (The Father of Modern Philadelphia & also the father of Kevin Bacon). Though she will never admit to that
Whatever the reason, I truly enjoyed working with Angela & Mike on their wedding day.
It was a beautiful Cinco De Mayo in Manayunk as the guest began to arrive at the St. John the Baptist Church.
Nearby at the bride and groom’s home, Angela is having her veiled positioned by her sister. Her father is watching over her shoulder, knowing he will be removing it in less than an hour.

During the vows everyone is brought back into their own thoughts. The Best Man remembering the day he made his vows to his wife or the flower girl dreaming of her own wedding someday.

I never get tired of the beautiful churches in Philadelphia.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE EMOTION IN THE PHOTO OF THE RICE BEING THROWN! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PHOTO
