We had a fabulous time photographing Rachel and Collin’s Adventure Aquarium Wedding!
I had been waiting for this day since first meeting Rachel & Collin 5 years ago. In addition to working with a great crew at The Currents Ballroom, we had the added bonus of working with wedding planner Sarah Morrison . An “A” plus team all around!
It was a beautiful day for a wedding at The Valley Green Inn. As a wedding photographer in Philadelphia, I feel extremely lucky to have such wonderful locations as backdrops for my couples.
MaryEllen and Jeremy picked a fabulous location for their wedding. I love working at the Warwick in Philadelphia. The staff rock and are always on top of their game. We stayed here for my own wedding back in 2002.
Downtown Media PA toke part in the fashion industries first annual Fashion’s Night Out, thanks to Per Lei Boutique last Thursday night. For those not familiar with Per Lei, they won “Best New Boutique – Burbs” in Philadelphia Magazine for 2008. Loor Photography was lucky enough to be invited by Candice Caprice (Co-Owner of Per Lei) to take part in the event. We made lots of new friends, like Amy & Nikki from HOTHEADS Salon. We also shared a cocktail with some old friends, like my gal pal Amy Bullock from Starry Eyed Optical. Amy has been outfitting me with stylish specs for over 8 years now. Special Thanks to my photojournalist friend Rachael Lane for joining in the fun with me. Here are some pics from the evening.
It was a beautiful day for Amanda and Michael’s wedding at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell. They are a fun and loving couple, who have been a joy to work with since their engagement session. We had a great couple, and a great location with a terrific team of folks for this event. It truly was a blast!
We had a terrific time at Lindsey & Shannon’s Wedding this past weekend in Chester Springs. I had been watching the weather channel all week leading up to the big day and I accepted the fact the outdoor ceremony would have to be moved indoors due to the rain. The day of the wedding arrives and 20 minutes before the scheduled start time of the ceremony, the ran stops! It was quickly decided that the ceremony was now going back outside. Family & friends sprung to action to relocate the ceremony site within minutes. The ceremony was beautiful, the bride was beautiful and so was the weather for the remainder of the evening.
Lisa and Kevin’s Sea Isle Wedding was beautiful. I have known Lisa since I was 14, and was honored to be shooting her wedding. She was a beautiful bride and she had a beautiful day.
Tara, Dan and I had a great time last year during our engagement session, seen here. There puppy was not invited to the wedding, but we still managed to have a great time at The Inn at Pocono Manor.
Kendra and David are one of those couples that are school days sweethearts and have been together forever. Though the have been together for sometime now, the wonderful thing is they still look at each other as if seeing that person for the first time. From the engagement session to the wedding day, they have been inspiring and so much fun to spend time with. I am so glad I was able to share in their wedding day.
I loved the Lego cake topper, which one of the groomsmen later attached to his Lego cuff links.
As the title suggests, Maria & Nikos blog posting will take more than one entry. So Part I begins at Maria’s parent’s restaurant in Swarthmore. Our initial meeting took place at a table at her parents restaurant, just prior to the lunchtime seating. I would say there were at least 6 family members present at the meeting, not to mention the friends/customers and co-workers who would come by to look at my sample albums. Maria’s family is so friendly and inviting that it is hard to distinguish family members from friends or customers since they treat all equally as nice and inviting. So I knew from this first meeting that this would be one wild ride to the wedding day. So the family, and restaurant guests approved of me, and I was thrilled to now be part of this Big Event!
I love doing an engagement sessions with my couples. It is a great way for the couple and I to interact prior to the wedding day. In this case, it was a great way to meet Nikos (the groom). He is truly a great guy. We hit it off immediately, so I can see how Maria fell for him. He seemed like the perfect fit for Maria, and her family.
I stopped by the restaurant the day before the wedding to get this shot.
And just for the record, I already loved Nikos prior to seeing the wedding gift that was parked outside the bride’s house as a surprise.
The day of the wedding I finally got to meet the groom’s side of the family. They were all welcoming and loving. Especially the groom’s mother, she was simply stunning. I have never seen a mother more proud of her happy for her son.
In the greek tradition, the bride and groom enter the church together.

November 6, 2009 - 1:05 amkalliopp@aol.com - i want to meet my fiance outside the church as well but was wondering how and when the bridal party and guests went into the church?
November 6, 2009 - 3:57 pmPhiladelphia Wedding Photographer - Most of the guest were seated inside the church. A few waited outside with the family to watch the bride approach in the horse and carriage. The father of the bride walked the her to the top of the steps were the met the groom. At that point the remaining guests entered, follow by the families and then the bridal party. The bride and groom entered last.
It was very nice.
My Best! Julio
